The Everest Science Center organised the first Science & Space Camp in February of 2016. More than 300 students took part in it with 70 of them being in the residential program where they spent 3 days and 2 nights in the Science Center campus. Their accomodation was in the recently opened hostel inside the Science Center. The students in the residential program where from HIMS school in Kathmandu. While the participants in the one day program were from different schools in Biratnagar.

This program was the selection process for the upcoming Educational Tour to NASA. And it helped in influencing our decision making for the selection. The results were announced in a week’s time.
